Medication Management Training

The class was developed in consultation with a licensed nurse and a pharmacist experienced in residential care, and includes an examination to test comprehension and competence.

This class is approved for ARF, RCFE and Group Homes.

Are you in compliance?
AB 2609 requires that all RCFE staff who assist residents with medication have the appropriate training by January 1, 2008, and four hours every year thereafter.

Class includes a certificate showing your training by an approved trainer.  Must be in class the entire time to get certificate.

This manual meets the requirements for training staff who assist with medications in CA RCFEs.
The manual was developed in consultation with a pharmacist and a nurse, so it exceeds the requirements for training. Everything that is required is covered in this interactive and personalized training program. All of the documentation you'll need for hands-on shadowing, a final exam, and an enormous number of activities are included as well. The exercises can be used over and over.
