  • Understand how aging and disability are understood in different cultures
  • Understand family dynamics and family structures
  • Identify ways to enhance strengths and capabilities of residents, families and staff
  • Practice negotiation skills for reaching agreement with others

Friday June 6 and Monday June 16, 2008  8:30 AM - 1:30 PM

  • Registration begins at 8:30 AM; class will be dismissed at 1:30 PM             
  • Class includes continental breakfast, lunch, materials, and a certificate showing your training by an approved trainer.  Must be in class the entire time to get certificate.
  • All classes at VITAS Office, 16830 Ventura Blvd., Suite 315, Encino, CA  91436
  • Parking in the building costs $17.50 and will not be validated.  Park at no cost in Smart & Final lot on the south side of Ventura Blvd.
  • Fee:       $29.00 per person   Fee is nonrefundable.
